Community Bible Fellowship

I have written almost all of the content on this website. I added a cross to a public domain globe for the logo picture; the color scheme is based on the globe colors. This is not an official logo, but the church has been using a globe with a cross on it as a symbol for many years.

In the past I have installed both a bulletin board and WordPress on this site. The bulletin board never caught on and was eventually removed. A previous youth pastor made extensive use of WordPress, but the subsequent one preferred Facebook, so it has been removed. When WordPress was installed I kept it up to date, made several customizations, and provided technical assistance when needed.

The pages use a fixed-width layout sized to fit a 1024 wide display and centered on larger displays. Functionality includes two custom contact forms and a drop-down menu. The secondary menu items are also listed on each page of the corresponding primary menu group.

I continue to maintain the site, updating the announcements and calendar at least once a week. When the monthly newsletter comes out I replace the pastor’s article with the new one and the calendar with one for the new month. I receive a CD containing a previous sermon about once a week, which I convert to MP3 and put on the site. I delete old ones after about a year. Other pages are updated as needed.
